Tour De County with CMRF Crumlin
CMRF Crumlin and Temple Street would like to invite you to take part in the "Tour De County" for CMRF Crumlin and Temple Street! "Tour De County" is an unique cycling event which will take place over the months of June, July and August while offering you and your family the chance to explore the county you live in, whilst adhering to social distancing guidelines.
There are many hidden gems tucked away in our own cities and towns, so why not get your friends and family to join in on the fun and plan a cycling route around your county.
Whether it’s sticking to a 20km route or exploring further afield on your bike we would love to hear all about your county cycling adventure challenges. How many miles can you clock up?
Stop for a tea or a coffee – if you are planning your county adventure consider visiting the little local businesses and shops in towns and villages that are re-opening after such a long time. Buy an ice cream, take a snap, have a cup of tea, and a scone. Re-connect with your community – the new way.
"Tour De County" is an ideal opportunity to wear your County Jersey and your club colours, club banter is optional and encouraged!
Right now we need your support more than ever. Our hospitals look after children from all over Ireland, and we are a home away from home for many of them. Some of these children may never get the opportunity to explore their own local surroundings. So we are asking you to share stories, pictures, community support and help raise a few euros along the way for our very special hospitals.
We value you, we value your community, and we value your county.
We are delighted you have chosen to get involved to support our amazing Childrens' Hospitals. Here are some steps to follow to help you get started with your 'Tour De County 2020' event for CMRF Crumlin and Temple Street Foundation*

Cycling is a fun activity for the entire family, and it's a life long skill that will stand to children into adulthood. It's also important to remember to take necessary safety precautions like wearing a safety helmet, cycling on paths and in parks, in particular for children, and avoid taking unnecessary risks.
