#Shop4Crumlin is taking place this month from Saturday September 19th – Sunday September 27th, 2020, the campaign will raise funds for the CMRF Giggle Fund. The CMRF Giggle Fund is dedicated to bringing joy to CHI at Crumlin patients, by organising small celebrations for them such as pyjama parties, pizza nights and new toys.
To support fundraising efforts for the Giggle Fund, One4all has enlisted actress and comedian Deirdre O’Kane to help find the funniest joke in Ireland. If you have a joke that will draw some hearty laughs from both kids and adults alike, a real side splitting gag that you feel is guaranteed to bring a smile to many, now is your chance to prove it while supporting an important cause. One4all and Deirdre O’Kane have today launched a new competition which will see one joker not only win a €100 One4all Gift Card, but the opportunity to give the young patients in CHI at Crumlin the best medicine – a good laugh!
Denise Fitzgerald, Chief Executive of CMRF Crumlin, which is part of the Children's Health Foundation Family says, "We are so thrilled that Shop4Crumlin is back again this September for its sixth year. A big thank you to One4All and their customers for being such generous and wonderful friends to sick children and their families in CHI at Crumlin. As always, this campaign will raise vital funds for the CMRF Crumlin Giggle Fund, which helps brighten days for children and young people in the hospital - from funding family supports, parties, entertainment and much more. These supports are so important to create a warm, welcoming, home-from-home environment for children who face many months of treatment and regular stays in CHI at Crumlin. From all of us here in CMRF Crumlin – thank you for doing whatever it takes for sick children.”
So, if you have a One4All voucher that is burning a hole in your pocket (or digital pocket!) please consider spending it during the #Shop4Crumlin week (especially in Penneys, M&S, Life Style Sports, Argos or Diesel!) and help bring a smile to the little patients in Crumlin.
