If you choose to fundraise we are here to support you.
Firstly, thank you for deciding to raise funds for CHI Crumlin and the National Children's Research Centre. You’ve chosen a worthwhile cause. Through your generosity, we can continue to provide the highly specialised care needed by some of our patients, and do more groundbreaking research that can change children's lives. Now, to the fundraising!
Think it out
Imagination is the key to successful fundraising. Think of something that fits well with your personality, interests your friends or your colleagues or means something to the local community. Talk it through with some of the people you hope to involve. And, most importantly, keep it simple. We have a list of fundraising ideas here to get you started. Feel free to call us to discuss your
plans and to find out how we can support you.
Establish a goal
Bearing in mind the time-lines, the level of support you expect and the nature of your event, set yourself a realistic target. Our fundraising team can give you a steer on a figure to aim for.
Create an online fundraising page
This makes it easy for people to sponsor you. Follow the simple instructions right here on our website.
Promote, promote, promote!
Tell the world what you’re doing, and why you’re doing it. Let people know about your event. Invite them to support you by sharing your online page and by putting up posters. Make sure everyone knows about CMRF Crumlin and the work we do to improve the lives of sick children here in Ireland.
Now, give it socks! And enjoy yourself. Remember, it’s all for a good cause.
