Would you be brave enough to Trash your Wedding Dress for cash for Crumlin? Lucinda Smith done just that!
When photographer, Tony Dunne first met Lucinda Smith in 2014 to go through wedding albums and packages for her photography for her big day, he realised they both had something in common - They both had little girls with heart troubles. This led to a long conversation where both Tony and Lucinda felt forever in debt to the great team of doctors and nurses in Our Lady's Children's Hospital, Crumlin and Dr. Fraser and his sub-team in Cork.
Lucinda decided she wanted to do something around her Wedding Day that raised vital funds to support the continued work in Crumlin and asked Tony to help.
From this came the idea to "Trash her Wedding Dress" by doing a series of dirty jobs with the aim to raise at least €1000 in 6 hours. Lucinda milked the cows, done the bin run, worked in the fish mongers to name but a few!
After Lucinda's got married to her husband Stevie on the 5th of August she set the date of September 8th 2015 to Trashed her Wedding Dress. You can view all of Lucinda's images here
