Murphy Surveys Cycle Speeds past €65,000
2018 proved to be the best year yet for Murphy Surveys annual Cycle for Crumlin. With more than double the registrations for this year's event compared to last year, the total raised was an incredible €20,750. Murphy Surveys, the Kilcullen Cycling Club, along with hundreds of cycling enthusiasts and local supporters have now contributed over €65,000 to CMRF Crumlin over five years of the event.
This year’s cycle saw over 350 cyclists cover a 50km or 100km route through the beautiful countryside surrounding Murphy Survery’s head office in Kilcullen Co. Kildare. The experience built up over the previous years’ events was evident through the smooth running of every element of the day and the huge enjoyment of everyone involved.
The great achievement of all the staff involved in running the Cycle for Crumlin was celebrated at the company’s annual family barbeque when a cheque was presented to an extremely grateful Sarah-K from CMRF Crumlin. These funds will make a huge difference to the 130,000 sick children that spend time in Crumlin every year.
