123.ie's Spring 2016 Charity Partnership
The wonderful staff of 123.ie vote for four charities to support each quarter every year. This Spring, CMRF Crumlin were the lucky chosen charity who 123.ie employees raised funds for. The whole office got involved donating money for a “Casual Day” in work. Each employee paid €5 so that they could wear something comfy into the office. They also arranged a raffle and tickets were sold for €5 each. The total funds raised during Quarter 2 for CMRF Crumlin was €2,400.
Lana Kelly who was 123.ie’s Charity Champion for CMRF Crumlin said “A lot of staff have children so may or may not have dealt with Crumlin, either way, we all know the great work Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital does for sick children, so we were happy to get involved.” Lana also told us about her own personal experience with Crumlin and why she cares about raising vital funds for CMRF Crumlin, “My own child Sam was brought into Crumlin with Pneumonia back in November and was admitted onto the Nazareth Ward. The nurses, doctors and carers were all amazing, and looking at some of the other children who don’t get to leave like Sam did just made me want to fundraise for Crumlin.”
As part of their Spring 2016 Charity Partnership, 123.ie created a great infographic which can be seen here.
CMRF Crumlin was thrilled to receive the final donation of €2,400 from all the generous staff in 123.ie. We’re sorry the partnership has already come to an end – it was short but sweet! We hope to work with 123.ie again in the future.
